Stephen Britt joined the CCAS Advising team in May 2017. He serves as a POD 2 Advisor, also working as a liaison for the Global Bachelor's Program and serving as an interim Pre-Health Advisor.
Stephen earned both his M.S. in Educational Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and his B.B.A. in Management with a Music Minor from Texas A&M University. In graduate school, Stephen advised undecided students and major changers in the Texas A&M Career Center, developing an interest in the intersection of career advising and academic advising.
Prior to graduate school and his work at GW, Stephen coordinated arts education programming in Raleigh, NC, and was an administrator in the Office of Admissions & Recruitment for the University of Texas at Austin's College of Fine Arts. Stephen is from Missouri City, TX, which is southwest of Houston. He enjoys watching crime thrillers and 90s British sitcoms on Netflix, checking out films at the E Street Cinema, reading, baking, playing the cello, going to the theatre, traveling, museum hopping, and all things Texas.
