Fernae Ellard

Fernae Ellard has been on staff as a community coordinator at GW since July of 2022. Prior to GW, Fernae spent time in various roles around the world including an outdoor educator in Colorado, art educator in Mississippi and a long-term volunteer educator and medical aid in Peru and Denmark. Fernae was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia and graduated as a student-athlete from Berea College in Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Studio Art. Fernae is an avid artist and spends her time at the pottery wheel, reading, hiking, paddle boarding, and volunteering in and exploring the city.
