Andre Culbreath

My name is André Culbreath, I am originally from Orangeburg, South Carolina. I serve as the Chief Diversity Academic Officer and Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) for The Columbian College of Arts & Sciences at The George Washington University. I primarily consult the Dean on matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion for the college. The consultation topics may range from faculty engagement, innovative pedagogical practices, assessment, student recruitment/engagement, staff engagement, professional development, alumni engagement, and the list continues. I also serve as a liaison to the various identity advocacy offices on campus connecting their services and programming initiatives to all CCAS community. In my spare time, I enjoys reading, traveling with his partner and serving the community. I am a veteran with the United States Air Force Reserves. I have dedicated my career and life to serving the greater community. I am a lifelong learner who is committed to the advancement of all students and professionals.
