Nakiella Strickland

Candace Sumner-Robinson is the Director of Undergraduate Advising for the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she has spent 18 years working for colleges and universities within the mid-Atlantic region. Candace is also a Ph.D. Candidate in the Sociology of Education program within the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She enjoys theater (especially musical theater), listening to music (especially 90's R&B, 80's and 90's hip hop, pop and go-go), visiting museums and cool restaurants, traveling throughout the US and around the world (especially via train), and spending time with her family and friends.
