Background
Crystal Rawls joined the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences as an Academic Advisor for Pod 1 in June 2022 and was promoted to Senior Academic Advisor for POD 3 in February 2024.
Crystal is a native of Virginia and received her B.S. degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2016. She also received her M.S. Ed in Higher Education Leadership from Old Dominion University in May 2018.
Prior to GW, Crystal was a Hall Director at the University of Michigan and the Assistant Director of Student Activities and Engagement at the University of Mary Washington. In her spare time, Crystal loves to listen to podcasts (especially history and true crime) and she is an avid fan of Animal Crossing.
