Corey Ballance Jr.


Corey Ballance, Jr. (he/him/his) is a Community Coordinator with Campus Living and Residential Education (CLRE) at The George Washington University. He is excited to be teaching CCAS 101 for the first time and is passionate about helping first-year students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Originally from North Carolina, Corey earned his Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Technology from East Carolina University and is currently completing his Master of Education in Higher Education Administration at North Carolina Central University. He has previous experience teaching and mentoring students in academic, organizational, residential, and spiritual life settings. In his free time, Corey enjoys reading, singing, exploring DC, and binge-watching his favorite shows.
