Background

Romel Williams joined the CCAS Advising Team in July 2019 as an Academic Advisor in POD 1. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Economics and Media, Culture, & Communications from New York University. Upon completion of his Bachelor's degree, he served as a College Counselor in the Center for Higher Education and Career Support (CHECS), a branch of the non-profit, The Harlem Children's Zone. As a counselor, Romel serviced students from Harlem as well as surrounding boroughs as they matriculated through various colleges and universities across the country. 

Romel relocated from New York City to Washington, D.C. to pursue a Master of Public Administration at the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy & Public Administration at the George Washington University. Romel is an avid music listener, traveler, cook (and foodie), and all around explorer.
