Background

Jennifer Ray joined the CCAS Advising Team in September 2018 as an Academic Advisor.

Fortunately, she was involved in the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) program where she found her passion to pursue Higher Education. In the past, she has served as a Student Assistant in the IT Division and as the Director of Finance for Black Student Union. Additionally, she assisted a variety of student populations in the past such as students with disabilities, future teachers, and inner city high school students seeking college admission. Most recently, she has served as a Retention Specialist for Humanities and Social Sciences majors and primarily supported students on academic probation, while serving as the advisor to the Black Student Union.

She is proud native of Southern California and in her free time she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, and finding new places to explore in the DMV area (open to recommendations)!
